Church Council Highlights for June, 2026

⊳     Terri Verlinde is going through our Building Insurance with a fine-tooth comb to see if she can          find an insurance that will save us money vs. Church Mutual. 

⊳     Rich Weinert gave an update on the furnace. We are awaiting an estimate for just the
        furnace as the AC Unit is still good since it’s not used as much. He also presented an
        estimate from Puwal’s Plumbing Solutions for the Women’s Bathroom drainage issue.
        The estimate is $2,075.00.

⊳     Stewardship Letters will be sent out in August. 

⊳     We will have no Church Services on July 5th and September 6th due to holidays.
        Communion will be served the next week we are in person.

⊳     Paper Quarterly Statements will be sent out the end of June and December. Emailing 
        statements isn’t an option due to our computer finance program.

⊳     Detailed discussion on how to go forward as a church. Our income is getting smaller and our 
        output larger. Having an All-Church Meeting on August 16th after service.

⊳     Our next Council meeting will be August 9.
